About Me

👋
Welcome to my website! I am a PhD. candidate in the Department of Pharmacology and Systems Physiology at the University of Cincinnati. I got my Bachelors of Science (BS) in Human Physiology (First Class Honors) from Osun State University, Nigeria. My predoctoral research is focused on elucidating uterine signaling pathways in Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM). LAM is a female predominant, rare lung disease with unknown origin and no cure. We have evidence to postulate that the uterus is the likely origin of LAM. I believe that the findings from my research would advance knowledge on LAM pathogenesis and uncover novel therapeutic targets to cure LAM.
